Instruction for Courses

To add the “Courses”, “Modules”, “Sub-Modules” and “Self-Test”, first login into the system as a “Teacher”. After logging in, click on the “Username” (present in the Top-Right corner) of the page followed by “My Profile”.

ADD COURSES:-

  1. Click on the “Manage Courses”

  2. Click on “Create New”.

  3. Fill up the mandatory fields ( marked with Asterik Symbol ) like Title, Banner Image etc in the form.    

  4. The Description box will provide the content of the Course in the Course Details page.Similarly, the Start Date and End Date provides the starting and end date of the course.

  5. Change the status from “Unpublish” to “Publish” to publish the course

EDIT COURSES:-

  1. In the Course List page, Click on the Edit button to edit the contents of the published Courses.

  2. After editing the required fields , click on “UPDATE” Button to save the changes made.    

  3. Look for the changes made in the Course details page.

ADD MODULE:-

  1. Click on the “Manage Modules”.

  2. In the module-listing page, click on “Create New”.

  3. In the Add Module form that appears, fill up the mandatory fields marked with asterik symbol .    

  4. Change the status from “Unpublish” to “Publish” to add the course to the list. Click on “Save” to save the module.

EDIT MODULE:-

  1. In the Module Listing page, click on the Edit button to edit the Module.

  2. In the “Update Module” page, make the necessary changes.

  3. Click on “UPDATE” after making the necessary changes to it.

ADD SUB-MODULE:-

  1.  Click on Manage Sub-Module.

  2. In the Sub-Module List page, click on the “Create New” button to create a new Sub-Module.

  3. In the Add Sub-Module page, select the “Course” and “Module” for which you want to add the sub-modules. Fill up the textboxes such as “Title” , “Content” etc.

  4. In the Add Sub-Module page, select the “Course” and “Module” for which you want to add the sub-modules. Fill up the textboxes such as “Title” , “Content” etc.

  5. Select whether Selftest is required or the Discussion. But it is not possible to select the option “Yes” for both the questions. If one will be “Yes”, other will be “No” and vice versa.

  6. You can also change the Status of the recently published Sub-module from the Sub-Module List by clicking on “Unpublish” once.

EDIT SUB-MODULE:-

  1. In the Sub-Module list, click on “Edit” button to edit the Sub-Module

  2. Make the necessary changes to the Sub-Module, and click on Update.

ADD SELF-TEST:

  1. Click on “Manage Self-Test”.

  2. Click On “Create Selftest” in the selftest list page.

  3. Fill up the mandatory fields in the selftest page.

  4. Click on “Save” after changing the status from “Unpublish” to “Publish”.

  5. Click on the last button on the Selftest page i.e. the royal blue color button to Add the Questions and their Options to the Selftest.

  6. Click on “Create Question” to add questions to the Selftest.

  7. Fill up the mandatory fields. The options can be given in 2 ways:- Firstly through Checkboxes and secondly through Radio Buttons. Multiple selections can be done through Checkboxes and only single selcetion is done through Radio Buttons.

EDIT SELF-TEST:-

  1. The questions in the selftest can be edited by clicking on the edit option “Light blue” color and making the necessary changes and saving the changes.

ADD DISCUSSION:-

  1. In the Sub-Module page select the Is-Discussion as Yes and Submit the form.
